Speciesism is the assumption that humans are superior to other species and therefore have the right to exploit, consume and profit from them. The needs of animals are put aside with the thought that the wellbeing of humans should be valued higher. Speciesist thinking is commonplace. This spot is meant to draw attention to it and simply explain it to everyone.
