Together with the production company WINDSTÆRKEZEHN, Daniel had the opportunity to accompany Waalem Winery for over a year, capturing the entire cycle of a wine-growing season. The result is a cinematic portrait that immerses viewers in the unique rhythm, craftsmanship, and spirit of this extraordinary place. Located in the heart of the Wadden Sea, Waalem combines a 19th-century villa with a contemporary winery, creating a remarkable destination for connoisseurs, explorers, entrepreneurs, and scientists alike. The film is presented multiple times daily to visitors in a custom-designed cinema, conceived and built by Daniel Schua and Nelis Friedrichs together with WINDSTÆRKEZEHN.
